JKSSB Junior Assistant Admit Card 2024 For Typing Test:
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) released the notice to issue the Admit Cards for the candidate’s Typing Test for the post of Junior Assistant in the various departments of the Jammu and Kashmir UT. The first phase of the typing test will start on the 15th of April, 2024. The Admit Cards will be available on the official website of the JKSSB i.e. jkssb.nic.in. The candidates can download their Admit Cards w.e.f 9th April 2024 ( 4.00 PM).
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) is conducting the Type Test for the Junior Assistant post in the various departments such as
Animal /Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Home Department, Forest, Ecology & Environment, Tourism, Civil Aviation Department, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Animal/Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Department, General Administration Department, Agriculture Production & Farmer’s Welfare departments of Jammu and Kashmir UT under various notification no. 02 of 2021 and 04 of 2022 and

The JKSSB says some important points in the Notice are as under :
- The Admit Card is issued to inform the candidate about the Name & Address, Examination Centre, Typing test date, and time for the candidate. This will help candidates to adjust their schedule for the Examination. The Typing test will commence on the 15th of April, 2024 to the 30th of April, 2024 ( Phase – l ).
- The Admit Cards are only issued for the candidates whose Type Test will be scheduled till the 30th of April, 2024 in Phase – l. The Admit Cards for the rest of the candidates will be notified separately by the JKSSB.
- The Candidates will download their admit cards 01 week before the Exam/Type Test date.
- The candidates are also advised to be in touch with the JKSSB’s Official Website (www.jkssb.nic.in) for the latest updates on the examinations and Admit cards will not be sent by post.
- In case of any difficulty in downloading/issues related to the Admit Card, Candidate(s) may contact the JKSSB Help-Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu)/ 0194-2435089 (Srinagar) or write to JKSSB at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. The Help Desk will be active from 09.04.2024 onwards till the completion of Typing Tests during office hours only.
- The candidates will not be permitted entry into the typing test venue without the Admit card and a valid identity that shows the photo clearly. Please again note that apart from the Admit Card, the candidates shall be required to produce a Photo identity card (Aadhaar Card/Voter Identity Card/Driving License/Passport/PAN card/Identity Card issued by a Competent Authority) as proof of their identity at the time of the exam.

Important Note
- JKSSB has the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the selection process at which he/she is found ineligible.
- Candidates must carry their E-Admit Card printout to the examination center and identification proof also such as an Aadhar card, driving license, etc.
Tips for typing test
- The typing test is about only 10 minutes, you have to write a paragraph for 10 minutes.
- To pass the typing test you to have write 35 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
- About 20% marks in the typing test and the rest 80% marks in the written exam.
- Passing the Typing Test is mandatory for the Junior Assistant post.
